We are honored to have Tulku Ngawang Tenzin Rinpoche offer Tara Sadhana at Panya Forest. Tara Sadhana is a Vajrayana Buddhist practice centered on Arya Tara, the embodiment of enlightened compassion and swift activity. Through prayers, mantra recitation, visualization, meditation, and offerings, practitioners cultivate compassion, courage, wisdom, and freedom from inner and outer fears.
What to Expect:
Guided visualization and meditation
Recitation of Tara prayers and mantras
Traditional offerings and ritual practice
Dedication of merit for the well-being of all beings
This practice offers an opportunity to slow down, turn inward, and connect with Tara’s qualities of compassion, fearlessness, and wisdom.
Participants will have the rare and meritous opportunity to participate in a Riwo Sangchoe land blessing ritual for Panya Forest.
Riwo Sangchoe, or Mountain Smoke Offering, is a profound Vajrayana practice of purification, offering, and generosity. Through the offering of fragrant smoke, practitioners make offerings to the Three Jewels and Three Roots, while also satisfying beings to whom we owe karmic debts and those connected with obstacles and disturbances.
The practice helps purify obscurations, clear obstacles, accumulate merit, and create auspicious conditions for oneself and all beings.
