Food Forest Lead
Mratt Kyaw comes from western part of Myanmar, in Rakhine State.
He comes from a farming family and grew in a rural community. He has proudly inherited the legacy of farming from his parents. He has been working as a farmer for the past 12 years, gaining hands-on experience in both traditional and modern agricultural practices.

Mratt region is facing serious challenges related to seed quality, food security and sovereignty as well as the overuse of chemical fertilizers. In response to that, he started collaborating with networks that promote natural local seeds and organic fertilizers.
His goal is to support sustainable agriculture and help local farmers transition towards healthier, peaceful and more environmentally friendly farming systems.
Mratt is also the founder of the “Permaculture and Sharing Network-Myanmar“
